Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Neiva kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Aloísio Bastos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turkos do RJ's Dé Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Paulo Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turkos do RJ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugênio Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Unidos da Pucurunga's Aloísio Bastos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dé Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute Aloísio Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Bastos in the 16th minute of the match. Dé Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Domingues during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Turkos do RJ! Valdir Barbosa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The supporters of Unidos da Pucurunga booed when Turkos do RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dé Almeida came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Unidos da Pucurunga's Aloísio Bastos. But to his dismay, Aloísio Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Edmundo de Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo de Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Edmundo de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aloísio Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Almeida having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aloísio Bastos made the kick off in the second half. Cesinha Meira charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesinha Meira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cesinha Meira hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio Amaral during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antônio Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Unidos da Pucurunga's Murilo da Costa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Turkos do RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Bastos came free, but Dé Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Valdir Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidos da Pucurunga's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dé Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Bastos's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Turkos do RJ's Edmundo de Azevedo got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Edmundo de Azevedo off the ground. The supporters of Unidos da Pucurunga booed when Turkos do RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Aloísio Bastos lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Dé Almeida. When Aloísio Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Unidos da Pucurunga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Bastos couldn't finish the play. Turkos do RJ's Dé Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Bastos in the 95th minute of play.
