E.C Bahea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brasas the free kick. Alexandre Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Fábio Quaresma kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Gonçalves. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Eduardo Tasso could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Jonas Gonçalves however easily saved by the left post. Luís Fábio Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brasas booed when E.C Bahea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Gonçalves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Eduardo Tasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Iuri de Godoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 34 minutes, Jerônimo Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasas and the E.C Bahea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jerônimo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Duda Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 52nd minute Iuri de Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Pimenta having to interfere. Duda Neiva struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Doni Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C Bahea. Doni Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes in the game Kléberson Carioca did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Iuri de Godoy. Brasas were furious when Jerônimo Simões was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brasas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Duda Neiva shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Agenor Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. E.C Bahea's Duda Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Brasas's zone, Duda Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Pimenta came out of the goal and Duda Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. E.C Bahea's Jonas Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri de Godoy in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Iuri de Godoy notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of E.C Bahea's Jonas Gonçalves. Jonas Gonçalves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, E.C Bahea's Duda Neiva got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, E.C Bahea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri de Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernani Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Brasas getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ernani Palmeira hit a great ball. Brasas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of E.C Bahea for a fine match.
