Paulão Breckenfeld didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséas Almeida went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 22 played minutes CAÇA NARANJA got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Matos. Paulão Breckenfeld made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Romeu Vinhas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Afligidos's Carlos Alberto Araújo got a free kick in the 25th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Carlos Alberto Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Afligidos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Roberto Aguiar made a kick off. After a rather tough play, CAÇA NARANJA's Nelsinho Travassos got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 64th minute, Nelsinho Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Paulão Breckenfeld. Afligidos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 66 played minutes CAÇA NARANJA got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Amorim. 69 minutes into the match, CAÇA NARANJA's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Aguiar came free, but Luiz Fábio Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fábio Britto was a little too slow when Carlos Alberto Araújo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 4-2. Carlos Alberto Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséas Almeida scored 5-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulão Breckenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 81 played minutes Afligidos got a freekick which was hit by Dário Travassos. Paulão Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Fontes in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of CAÇA NARANJA booed when Afligidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CAÇA NARANJA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Afligidos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
