Iuri Araújo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Lucas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Félix. Cauã Souto hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Adelino Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Zé Carlos Lucas made a huge save. Zé Carlos Lucas was a little too slow when Luiz Gustavo Urbano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Silas Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th play minute Mathias Félix came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zé Carlos Lucas. 2-0. Zé Carlos Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Urbano in the 36th minute of play. Werner Gjettermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Araújo in the 37th minute of play. Zé Carlos Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monreal FC's Zé Carlos Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Urbano in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, one of Monreal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Monreal FC. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Spinach the Sailor. Ditlev Bicer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zé Carlos Lucas. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Gustavo Urbano made a kick off. Zé Carlos Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Félix in the 58th minute of play. Werner Gjettermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Araújo in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Silas Vander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spinach the Sailor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monreal FC the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Spinach the Sailor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Vander to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Monreal FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cauã Souto hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Urbano came free, but Zé Carlos Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Luiz Gustavo Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiori de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Gjettermann having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Spinach the Sailor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 78thth minute of the game Iuri Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spinach the Sailor's Werner Gjettermann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Horácio Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spinach the Sailor's protests and gave Horácio Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. Horácio Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Urbano came free, but Zé Carlos Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Mathias Félix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Carlos Lucas. Monreal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Félix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Fiori de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Gjettermann having to interfere. Silas Vander took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Carlos Lucas. Zé Carlos Lucas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Luiz Gustavo Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Spinach the Sailor fully deserved thier win.
