Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Moraes in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Marín prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ituano's Anselmo Moraes in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Grandes's goalie prevented a goal. Anselmo Moraes took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Marín. Miguel Marín dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anselmo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Grandes's Willian Chaves managed to work through Ituano's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Willian Chaves dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Anselmo Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ituano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Moraes couldn't finish the play. Vítor Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Chaves in the 46th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Willian Chaves made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ituano's Vítor Recife tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Moraes made a kick off. Los Grandes's Miguel Marín played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Moraes in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willian Chaves in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Los Grandes's Willian Chaves in 65 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Vítor Recife guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Willian Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Chaves in the 70th minute of the match. Miguel Marín showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willian Chaves in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Chaves in the 87th minute of play forced Ituano's goalkeeper Vítor Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Ituano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ituano players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
