With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Pombal in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fabiano de Azevedo saved Jaraqui from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Massa in the 8th minute of play forced TruviaN 1896's goalkeeper David Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fabiano de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Pombal's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Nildo Pombal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fabiano de Azevedo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Kléberson Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano de Azevedo having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Cauã Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Fabiano de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by TruviaN 1896's Nildo Pombal. But to his dismay, Nildo Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kléberson Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano de Azevedo having to interfere. Nildo Pombal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fabiano de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Nildo Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Kléberson Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of TruviaN 1896 booed when Jaraqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléberson Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano de Azevedo having to interfere. Luís Fabiano de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Pombal's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Hüsnü Toycan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TruviaN 1896's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüsnü Toycan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luís Eduardo Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matheus Vaz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After the first half TruviaN 1896 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nildo Pombal made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Nildo Pombal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fabiano de Azevedo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Kléberson Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. TruviaN 1896's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléberson Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Kléberson Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TruviaN 1896's David Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Massa in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedrão Fonseca during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cauã Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Nildo Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Luís Eduardo Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Nildo Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fabiano de Azevedo. Jaraqui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nildo Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Matheus Vaz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes, Matheus Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaraqui and the TruviaN 1896 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Jaraqui got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Vaz. Kléberson Leme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fabiano de Azevedo having to make a save. Luís Fabiano de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Nildo Pombal sent off a good shot on target.
