Spectators: 7408 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 70) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joélson Paulista took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Felipe Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elano Maia. Jucatan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Elano Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Paulista in the 7th minute of the match. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Squadra Campeira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabriel Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time Jucatan's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gabriel Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Squadra Campeira's João Adolfo Esteves did a great save. In the 16th minute Kaká Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joélson Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Joélson Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Jucatan got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo de Queiroz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulisses de Alcântara during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 25 minutes into the match, Jucatan's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Paulista came free, but Elano Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Ulisses de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jucatan's Denílson Teixeira got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st match minute, Jucatan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Souza to maneuver through the defense. Elano Maia was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Joélson Paulista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joélson Paulista really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 40th minute, Joélson Paulista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Squadra Campeira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. João Adolfo Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Joélson Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Felipe Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra Campeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elano Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Paulo de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Aníbal Quadros made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gabriel Souza however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Jucatan's Denílson Teixeira got a free kick in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Paulista in the 70th minute of play forced Jucatan's goalkeeper Elano Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamim Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Elano Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joélson Paulista went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Joélson Paulista struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Elano Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squadra Campeira. Jucatan's Elano Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Paulista in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jucatan's Nando Arantes got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Joélson Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Squadra Campeira's Dráusio Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elano Maia came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Squadra Campeira's Joélson Paulista. But to his dismay, Joélson Paulista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Squadra Campeira's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
