Werner Gjettermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Spinach the Sailor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Grandes:s goal. In the 13th minute Willian Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Gjettermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Spinach the Sailor's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Chaves came free, but Werner Gjettermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spinach the Sailor's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Willian Chaves 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Miguel Marín showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Félix in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Grandes's Enio Siqueira got a free kick in the 30th minute. Willian Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Werner Gjettermann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willian Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Spinach the Sailor's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Chaves came free, but Werner Gjettermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Luiz Gustavo Urbano made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Los Grandes's Willian Chaves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Werner Gjettermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Grandes's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Werner Gjettermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Werner Gjettermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Chaves in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Spinach the Sailor getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Silas Vander hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Willian Chaves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Werner Gjettermann was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jardel França might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Werner Gjettermann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Werner Gjettermann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Chaves in the 90th minute of play forced Spinach the Sailor's goalkeeper Werner Gjettermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Willian Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
