The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jucatan's Elano Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Fernandez in the 4th minute of play. Tiago Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Verissimo KFCH F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Jean Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Jean Fernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elano Maia was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Jucatan's Elano Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Corrêa in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jucatan defense, Jean Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elano Maia. The Jucatan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elano Maia should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Tiago Corrêa notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Jucatan's Elano Maia. Elano Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Gustavo Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elano Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Gustavo Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Jucatan's zone, Tiago Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elano Maia came out of the goal and Tiago Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes, Luís Gustavo Messias made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Jucatan's Elano Maia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Jucatan's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Fernandez came free, but Elano Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Fernandez in the 45th minute of play forced Jucatan's goalkeeper Elano Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jucatan booed when Verissimo KFCH F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Jucatan's goalkeeper Elano Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Gines. Jucatan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Tiago Corrêa scored to the left of an out of position Elano Maia, making the score, 0-7. Elano Maia was a little too slow when Jean Fernandez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-8. Casimiro Gines's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elano Maia firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Fred Amaral got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Elano Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Fernandez in the 78th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Elano Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano Maia made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Tiago Corrêa sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the game, Nando Arantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jucatan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verissimo KFCH F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Jucatan getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nando Arantes hit a great ball. Jean Fernandez scored 0-10 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elano Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute of the match, Jean Fernandez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elano Maia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Jean Fernandez, in the 89th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Verissimo KFCH F.C.. Jucatan's Elano Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Jucatan from getting a goal against them. In the last second Elano Maia throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jean Fernandez in the 98thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
