In the 18th minute Márcio Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Gjettermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Werner Gjettermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Massa in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Spinach the Sailor's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Massa came free, but Werner Gjettermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Jundiahy AD's goalkeeper Tostão do Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Félix. Spinach the Sailor's Silas Vander pulled a muscle in his leg after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Nelsinho Bezerra fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jundiahy AD's protests and gave Nelsinho Bezerra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Spinach the Sailor booed when Jundiahy AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werner Gjettermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Fernandez in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Márcio Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jundiahy AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Massa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Werner Gjettermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Moraes hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jundiahy AD's Ian Moraes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Spinach the Sailor. With a little luck, Jundiahy AD's Tostão do Valle got control of the ball when Mathias Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mathias Félix struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Tostão do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spinach the Sailor. Nelsinho Bezerra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Jonas Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jundiahy AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Jundiahy AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 61st minute, Jonas Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spinach the Sailor's Werner Gjettermann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Spinach the Sailor from getting a goal against them. If Jonas Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Gustavo Urbano struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Tostão do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spinach the Sailor. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Werner Gjettermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Werner Gjettermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jundiahy AD's Jonas Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Márcio Massa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Werner Gjettermann. The goal made the score 0-2. Márcio Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márcio Massa might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Werner Gjettermann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Massa ran back to his position shaking his head. Werner Gjettermann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Fernandez in the 100th minute. Jundiahy AD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
