Evaristo de Mendonça's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cássio Arruda firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Dênis Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Vicenzi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dênis Barreto couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Dênis Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Enrique França reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cássio Arruda. The goal made the score 2-0. Vicenzi's Tales Aguiar pulled a muscle in his back after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Enrique França fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tricolor Fc's protests and gave Enrique França a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tricolor Fc's Enrique França got a free kick in the 39th minute. A collision led to Tricolor Fc getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Enrique França hit a great ball. Cássio Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo de Mendonça in the 46th minute. Evaristo de Mendonças short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Cássio Arruda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilvan Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Evaristo de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cássio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Freire in the 55th minute of play. Cássio Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique França went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Evaristo de Mendonça scored 4-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Evaristo de Mendonça notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Vicenzi's Cássio Arruda. Cássio Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cássio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Tricolor Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Enrique França struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Cássio Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tricolor Fc. In the 92nd minute, Enrique França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Arruda came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Tricolor Fc's Enrique França. But to his dismay, Enrique França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Tricolor Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
