In the 15th minute of the match Lauro Moura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltazar Amaral skillfully saved the ball. Ezequiel Mesquita hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Lauro Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Cachoeirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltazar Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when HAMMERFALL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltazar Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reginaldo Teixeira went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Vinhas in the 27th minute of play forced HAMMERFALL F.C.'s goalkeeper Baltazar Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Rafinha Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltazar Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Reginaldo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting.
