The Araguainha EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vasco Da Gama were winning 1-2.

Ramón Veloso was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Didi de Lima capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Didi de Lima really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Henrique Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Vasco Da Gama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Araguainha EC.
