Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Marinho in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Terry Terry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valdir Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Bin Yang in the 34th minute of the match. João Francisco Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terry Terry having to interfere. João Francisco Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Formigueiro FP's goalkeeper Terry Terry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Francisco Dias. Terry Terry made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Elano Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. Terry Terry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Marinho in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Bin Yang in the 44th minute of play forced Vasco Da Gama's goalkeeper Valdir Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silas Correia fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ruy Costa thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Terry Terry, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 2-0. Formigueiro FP were furious when Chiquinho da Costa was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Formigueiro FP's Chiquinho da Costa got a free kick in the 58th minute. José De Pablo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Edgard Marinho notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Formigueiro FP's Terry Terry. The Terry Terry was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Queiroz in the 95th minute of play forced Formigueiro FP's goalkeeper Terry Terry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Vasco Da Gama were the better team. Vasco Da Gama's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
