Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlos Augusto Maciel made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Armandinho Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. 6 GOD's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes Exu got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Leão. Wesley Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Gonçalves went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Exu's zone, Bernardinho Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cabral came out of the goal and Bernardinho Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Armandinho Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Amaral in the 19th minute of play. Exu's Marcos Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Amaral in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Emerson Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Exu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 6 GOD the free kick. Emerson Freire hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, 6 GOD's Rafael de Sousa tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emerson Freire hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Emerson Freire was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Exu's Emerson Freire got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Alexandre Leão fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Exu's protests and gave Alexandre Leão a yellow card for diving instead. Alexandre Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Exu's zone, Bernardinho Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cabral came out of the goal and Bernardinho Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Bernardinho Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardinho Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davi Simões during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes 6 GOD got a freekick which was hit by Davi Simões. Jeremias Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Senna having to make a save. Bernardinho Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marcos Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Augusto Maciel during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of 6 GOD booed when Exu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Rafael de Sousa in the 75th minute really tested Marcos Cabral's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jeremias Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremias Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Exu getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alexandre Leão hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Chiquinho Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wesley Senna. 6 GOD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chiquinho Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Exu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of 6 GOD for a fine match.
