Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juvenal Hoffmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ori's defense didn't have a chance, in the 2nd minute, when Alessandro Furtado scored to the left of an out of position Alberto Sena, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Ori getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Juvenal Hoffmann hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, SPORT CLUB CAPIXABA's Alberto Sena threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alessandro Furtado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th minute, Alessandro Furtado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberto Sena. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 14th minute Alessandro Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ori defense, Cafu Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Sena. The Ori fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Sena should have stopped the shot. Cafu Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Furtado in the 20th minute of play forced Ori's goalkeeper Alberto Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Juvenal Hoffmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benê Chaves was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Cafu Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ori's Alberto Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Furtado in the 24th minute of play. Alberto Sena was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Alessandro Furtado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alessandro Furtado really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. If Edgar Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Benê Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ori. With 37 minutes on the clock, Belmiro Salles commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 38th match minute, SPORT CLUB CAPIXABA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Salles to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, SPORT CLUB CAPIXABA's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Hoffmann came free, but Benê Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Ricardinho da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benê Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Hoffmann in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Barbosa got free with Alberto Sena in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Sena came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by SPORT CLUB CAPIXABA's Luizão Bueno. But to his dismay, Luizão Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cafu Barbosa to make the kick off. Ori's Alberto Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho da Mata in the 53rd minute of play. Ori were furious when Elivélton Souto was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Ori getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Elivélton Souto hit a great ball. Alberto Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes, Rodolfo Cardozo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ori and the SPORT CLUB CAPIXABA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ori getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rodolfo Cardozo hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Edgar Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Cafu Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Juvenal Hoffmann's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benê Chaves firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 80th minute of the match Ori got a corner. SPORT CLUB CAPIXABA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrézinho Gomes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rodolfo Cardozo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 84th minute Cafu Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardinho da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Ricardinho da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu Barbosa in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Sena saved Ori from getting behind.
