Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Vítor Custódio to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Valle in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos Soares saved Time de Futebol from getting behind. Time de Futebol's João Vítor Custódio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Tiago Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Zé Carlos Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Camargo got in the 75th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Remo do Vale handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If João Vítor Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Sílvio Valle notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Time de Futebol's Zé Carlos Soares. Zé Carlos Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Time de Futebol's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
