The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorival Fontes during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dorival Fontes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Yin Hong Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Martelão FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Orlando Loureiro hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Martelão FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Lopez came free, but Arlindo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Simeone charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Simeone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jurano FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Diego Simeone hit a great ball. Oliver Kan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Jurano FC booed when Martelão FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Kan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dorival Fontes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Jurano FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Ricardo Zanette scored to the left of an out of position Oliver Kan, making the score, 3-0. In the 38th minute, Dorival Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martelão FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorival Fontes in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Kan saved Jurano FC from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Martelão FC's Ricardo Zanette dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 45 minutes into the game, Dorival Fontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oliver Kan. Dorival Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duda Lopez to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Jorginho Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Oliver Kan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arlindo Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Duda Lopez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-1 in the 58 minute of play. After 64 minutes, Yin Hong Cheng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jurano FC and the Martelão FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Jurano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yin Hong Cheng to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yin Hong Cheng got free with Arlindo Santos in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
