An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Fontes in the 13th minute of play forced Pangarés FC's goalkeeper Froilan Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Perez in the 15th minute of play forced Martelão FC's goalkeeper Arlindo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Pangarés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Fontes came free, but Froilan Cresconio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Dorival Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pangarés FC's Froilan Cresconio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Martelão FC got a corner. Pangarés FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorginho Saldanha made a great header on Martelão FC's corner, it was just that Pangarés FC's Froilan Cresconio managed to reach the ball for a save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorival Fontes made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Martelão FC's Ricardo Zanette got a free kick in the 55th minute. Froilan Cresconio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Pangarés FC's Froilan Cresconio got control of the ball when Jorginho Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Martelão FC's Ricardo Zanette ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Froilan Cresconio. Froilan Cresconio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Froilan Cresconio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Zanette in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Pangarés FC booed when Martelão FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Cresconio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Loureiro in the 78th minute. Froilan Cresconio made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Jorginho Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Jorginho Saldanha took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Froilan Cresconio to make any attempt to save it. Falcão Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Santos having to interfere. A collision led to Pangarés FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luís Fábio Sanches hit a great ball. Pangarés FC's Froilan Cresconio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Pangarés FC from getting a goal against them. Martelão FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
