The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vitoria's Bernardinho de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Vitoria from getting a goal against them. Adilson Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Natã Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natã Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Cunha in the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Geovanni dos Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardinho de Mendonça. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Geovanni dos Santos sped through Vitoria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardinho de Mendonça. Bernardinho de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Guerreiros da Bola FC's Geovanni dos Santos. But to his dismay, Geovanni dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bernardinho de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Geovanni dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardinho de Mendonça having to interfere. Kléber do Nascimento made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 37thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Bernardinho de Mendonça would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Geovanni dos Santos put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardinho de Mendonça.

Vitoria's Bernardinho de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni dos Santos in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match Guerreiros da Bola FC got a corner. Vitoria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remo Rezende ran over to the corner to take the kick. Natã Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléber do Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardinho de Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Geovanni dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Guerreiros da Bola FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Guerreiros da Bola FC's Geovanni dos Santos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 85 minutes, Geovanni dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerreiros da Bola FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanni dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Melo came free, but Natã Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Natã Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Vitoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Cunha couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Melo came free, but Natã Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardinho de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Guerreiros da Bola FC's Geovanni dos Santos. But to his dismay, Geovanni dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guerreiros da Bola FC fully deserved thier win.
