Hílton Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Teixeira in the 12th minute of play forced Pangarés FC's goalkeeper Froilan Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pangarés FC's Froilan Cresconio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pangarés FC from getting a goal against them. Zé Roberto Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Froilan Cresconio made a huge save. Gabriel Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Froilan Cresconio was a little too slow when Waldir Teixeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Froilan Cresconio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Roberto Silveira's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Waldir Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Froilan Cresconio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fábio Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Zé Roberto Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Froilan Cresconio. Pangarés FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Pangarés FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luís Fábio Sanches hit a great ball. The supporters of Pangarés FC booed when Ubaieira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Waldir Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Cresconio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pangarés FC's zone, Zé Roberto Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Cresconio came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ubaieira getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hílton Tróia hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Zé Roberto Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Cresconio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Silveira in the 71st minute of the match. Charles da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Pangarés FC's Eulalio Tolino came free and shot a quick shot against goal 75 minutes in the game, fortunately Charles da Costa had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 76 minutes, Hílton Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ubaieira and the Pangarés FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ubaieira's Charles da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Perez in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Pangarés FC booed when Ubaieira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Waldir Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubaieira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pangarés FC the free kick.
