Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Pangarés FC's Froilan Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Cunha in the 3rd minute of play. Froilan Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 14 played minutes, Pangarés FC's Jânio Prestes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardinho de Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pangarés FC reached it. After 18 played minutes Vitoria got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Catarinense. Guto Machado's late challenge caught a Vitoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Guto Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Froilan Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Natã Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Valdemar Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitoria's Bernardinho de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Valdemar Perez put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardinho de Mendonça. After 36th play minutes Eulalio Tolino shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Bernardinho de Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. After 40 minutes, Luís Fábio Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pangarés FC and the Vitoria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Fábio Sanches hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Adilson Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vitoria's Adilson Melo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pangarés FC's goalie prevented a goal. During the 47th minute of the match Guto Machado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guto Machado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Guto Machado hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adilson Melo made a kick off. Adilson Melo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Froilan Cresconio. Froilan Cresconio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 63 minutes into the match, Vitoria's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Sanches came free, but Bernardinho de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pangarés FC booed when Vitoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Vitoria's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Tolino came free, but Bernardinho de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natã Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Froilan Cresconio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pangarés FC's Damaso Perpinya got a free kick in the 74th minute. Vitoria's Mazinho de Sousa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pangarés FC. Conrado Sanches might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Cresconio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Sanches ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardinho de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vitoria's goalkeeper Bernardinho de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute Valdemar Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardinho de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Pangarés FC's Valdemar Perez. But to his dismay, Valdemar Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Vitoria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
