Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filomeno Revuelta started the match with the kick off. Cássio Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rubens Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itaretama's Elpidio Caton got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Itaretama got a freekick which was hit by Ian Trigo. Beberibe's Maurinho Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Revuelta in the 20th minute of play. Maurinho Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Revuelta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 26 minutes, Elpidio Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaretama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Caton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Filomeno Revuelta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Elpidio Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaretama's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Caton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurinho Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beberibe's Maurinho Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Beberibe from getting a goal against them. In the 35th match minute, Itaretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Caton to maneuver through the defense. Maurinho Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Revuelta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurinho Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Revuelta in the 40th minute. Filomeno Revuelta took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurinho Sarmento. Maurinho Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a little luck, Beberibe's Maurinho Sarmento got control of the ball when Elpidio Caton tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cássio Félix to strike the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Revuelta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Maurinho Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Itaretama's Ian Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurinho Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Elpidio Caton scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Filomeno Revuelta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itaretama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Revuelta in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurinho Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurinho Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Maurinho Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Revuelta in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Itaretama getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bruce Banner hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Itaretama got a corner. Beberibe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl Kaaaas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Karl Kaaaas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maurinho Sarmento quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maurinho Sarmento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Caton went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Maurinho Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Revuelta's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Elpidio Caton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruce Banner hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Elpidio Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurinho Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Itaretama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl Kaaaas in the 95th minute.
