Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vitinho Garcia got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Mané Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elói Terra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romário Meira. Goiânia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Gustavo Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luís Gustavo Reis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Romário Meira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luiz Guilherme Madureira hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Simão Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Caras getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Isaltino Montenegro hit a great ball. Elói Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Simão Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiânia FC's protests and gave Simão Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Vitinho Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Elói Terra. Caras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luís Gustavo Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Francisco Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Simão Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Elói Terra. Caras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Thanks to some nice moves Mané Mangueira could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Elói Terra however easily saved by the left post. In the 56th minute, Isaltino Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Caras's Elói Terra got control of the ball when Mané Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Nuno Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Maia took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elói Terra. Elói Terra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Vitinho Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elói Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Mané Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elói Terra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Elói Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Garcia in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Goiânia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Reis came free, but Romário Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Simão Queirós was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 89th minute, Simão Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mané Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goiânia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mané Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elói Terra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Goiânia FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
