After 11 minutes of play, Lea FC's Otávio Dante made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romário Meira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Goiânia FC defense, Hugo Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romário Meira. The Goiânia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romário Meira should have stopped the shot. Lea FC's Hortêncio Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Goiânia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Madureira to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Lea FC's Otávio Dante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Goiânia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Bastos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Goiânia FC's zone, Ubaldo Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Meira came out of the goal and Ubaldo Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Namık Hinoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Queirós in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Hugo Bastos made a precise shot to the right of Romário Meira. Goiânia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Bastos during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otávio Dante to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Hugo Bastos made a precise shot to the right of Romário Meira. Goiânia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. 59 minutes into the game, Mané Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goiânia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lea FC the free kick. The supporters of Lea FC booed when Goiânia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romário Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lea FC. Namık Hinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romário Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Dante in the 67th minute of play. Romário Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Dante in the 69th minute of the match. Hugo Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Goiânia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Madureira to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Lea FC's Otávio Dante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romário Meira. That made the score 0-9 after 76 minutes of play. Hugo Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Bastos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 84th playminute. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Hugo Bastos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Otávio Dante did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-12 to the left of a surprised Romário Meira 88 minutes into the match. Lea FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
