Elói Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Ferm in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Bernardo Olentzaro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Caras's Elói Terra. Elói Terra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute of the match, Robinho Mineiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elói Terra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Robinho Mineiro had several of the Caras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Elói Terra as he didn't even see the shot coming. 3-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Robinho Mineiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Ferm got free with Elói Terra in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elói Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robinho Mineiro in the 36th minute. After 39 played minutes Caras got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Cardozo. Elói Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Queiroz in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes Galileia FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Goiano. Marco Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luís Gustavo Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Caras's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Olentzaro came free, but Elói Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Gustavo Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Galileia FC's Tim Ferm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elói Terra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 59 played minutes Caras got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Massa. 62 minutes into the match, Galileia FC's Bernardo Olentzaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elói Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play, Galileia FC's Tim Ferm made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elói Terra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th match minute, Galileia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Caras's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Olentzaro came free, but Elói Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caras's Elói Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Ferm in the 75th minute of play. If Robinho Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elói Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Mineiro in the 84th minute of the match. Elói Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Mineiro in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Caras booed when Galileia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Olentzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elói Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Robinho Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caras's Elói Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Olentzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galileia FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
