Giovanni Damião started the match with the kick off. Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Felippe Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Gilberto Salomone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raúl Camargo. Methos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Salomone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 41stth minute of the game Giovanni Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Methos FC's Raúl Camargo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juvenal Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Camargo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Giovanni Damião. But to his dismay, Giovanni Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Mandrak made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Ubiratan Esporte Clube got a corner. Methos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giovanni Damião ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Romeu Proença to fire away a dangerous shot which Raúl Camargo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Juvenal Prado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raúl Camargo. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. Felippe Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felippe Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Camargo having to interfere. Giovanni Damião struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Raúl Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ubiratan Esporte Clube. In the 75th minute, Gilberto Salomone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raúl Camargo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Felippe Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Giovanni Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Methos FC's Raúl Camargo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Methos FC from getting a goal against them. Methos FC's Raúl Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Prado in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Felippe Zanette slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raúl Camargo. That made the score 0-5 after 92 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Ubiratan Esporte Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Methos FC.
