Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Real Juventude FC booed when Methos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes of play Real Juventude FC's Caio Sá was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 80 played minutes Real Juventude FC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Sá. In the 90th minute Nildo Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renan Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Methos FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
