Tião Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delta FC. In the 33rd minute, Dorival Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benê Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dadá Donato sent off a good shot on target. Válter Mota made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dadá Donato immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Delta FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ademar de Lara hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Válbson de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. Delta FC's attentive Válbson de Queiroz managed to snatch the ball when Válter Mota made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. A collision led to Delta FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dorival Mandrak hit a great ball. The throw-in from Dadá Donato in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Delta FC's Iuri Dantas. When Dadá Donato came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Jacus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Donato couldn't finish the play. Dadá Donato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benê Aguiar having to make a save. If Dadá Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
