Elivélton Porto scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Elivélton Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capinas AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Celso Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Valadares in the 24th minute of the match. Turma do Funil's Celso Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Porto in the 27th minute of play. Celso Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Turma do Funil's Celso Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Rodrigues in the 28th minute of play. Elivélton Porto took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Sanches. Celso Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Arí Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bruninho Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Turma do Funil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Simões to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Olavo de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capinas AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turma do Funil the free kick. Olavo de Almeida hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Frédson Peres from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Bruninho Macedo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Arí Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruninho Macedo having to make a save. 46 minutes into the game, Cafu Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Bruninho Macedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Turma do Funil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Capinas AD were winning 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arí Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. Elivélton Porto succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. In the 58th match minute, Capinas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Turma do Funil's Cafu Quintal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruninho Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. Celso Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elivélton Porto went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Elivélton Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Capinas AD's Elivélton Porto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celso Sanches. Celso Sanches yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-8. In the 73rd minute, Hernani Rodrigues reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celso Sanches. The goal made the score 2-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Emanuel Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capinas AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Sanches came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Capinas AD's Elivélton Porto. But to his dismay, Elivélton Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-10. Elivélton Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celso Sanches came out and tried to block the shot, but Elivélton Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-11 in the 83rd minute. Celso Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enio Valadares in the 87th minute. Turma do Funil's Celso Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Porto in the 89th minute of play. Celso Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval Mattos went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-12 was the resulting score. Celso Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Capinas AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Turma do Funil throughout the match.
