Pedro Paulo Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Paulo Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Tomé Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Garcia in the 26th minute of play forced Paraná Clube's goalkeeper Manuel Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Lauro Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dieguinho de Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s Marconi Røvik got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes, Elivélton Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraná Clube and the ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯ got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Pires. He was immediately shown a red card. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paraná Clube! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯. Lauro Pires stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Munhoz. 1-2. The supporters of ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯ booed when Paraná Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Paraná Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
