Spectators: 7592 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 150) Badajos's Ronaldão Cabral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Vitinho Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RapidZ's Stellan Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Travassos in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, RapidZ's Stellan Bergqvist got control of the ball when Ronaldão Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benê Hoffmann hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. RapidZ's Stellan Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Travassos in the 10th minute of play. If Horácio Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubens Guedes during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horácio Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ronaldão Cabral had several of the RapidZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Stellan Bergqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Badajos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Pedrão Dias hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Walmyr de Queirós shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvaldo Madureira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edvaldo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Jean Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Badajos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Edvaldo Madureira came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by RapidZ's Jean Berger. But to his dismay, Jean Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Badajos's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Guedes came free, but Edvaldo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benê Hoffmann took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Madureira. Edvaldo Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Stellan Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes, Horácio Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Badajos and the RapidZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horácio Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Stellan Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovani Tinoco in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean Berger was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Cabral in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute of the match Alessandro Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stellan Bergqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, RapidZ's Cacá Lendaa got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Alessandro Duarte put in a rough tackle. In the 67th match minute, Badajos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Badajos's Vitinho Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitinho Travassos struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Stellan Bergqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Badajos. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of RapidZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Badajos:s goal. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Badajos. Ronaldão Cabral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stellan Bergqvist. 2-2. Benê Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Madureira made a huge save. After 91 minutes of play, Badajos's Vitinho Travassos made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stellan Bergqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovani Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stellan Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th minute, Vitinho Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Stellan Bergqvist. RapidZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2.
