Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronaldão Cabral started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Paraná Clube's zone, Ronaldão Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Munhoz came out of the goal and Ronaldão Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Manuel Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Cabral in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Paraná Clube got a freekick which was hit by Tião de Brito. 14 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Cabral came free, but Manuel Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Cabral in the 16th minute of play. Ernani Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernani Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernani Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Vitinho Travassos took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Munhoz. Manuel Munhoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Manuel Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Manuel Munhoz came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Badajos's Geovani Tinoco. But to his dismay, Geovani Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Manuel Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Cabral in the 31st minute of the match. Paraná Clube's Manuel Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Cabral in the 33rd minute of play. Manuel Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Tinoco in the 34th minute of play. Manuel Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Ronaldão Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Travassos came free, but Manuel Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvaldo Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dieguinho de Azevedo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Elivélton Fernandes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dieguinho de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edvaldo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião de Brito in the 55th minute of play. Flavinho da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho de Azevedo in the 61st minute of play forced Badajos's goalkeeper Edvaldo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Paraná Clube's Ernani Matos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ernani Matos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paraná Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ernani Matos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 65 minutes into the game, one of Paraná Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Manuel Munhoz, was totally fooled by Badajos's Ronaldão Cabral, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Paraná Clube's Manuel Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Travassos in the 70th minute of play. Manuel Munhoz was a little too slow when Horácio Medeiros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 76th minute, Vitinho Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Munhoz. Paraná Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 79th minute, Leonel Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Ronaldão Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 84 in the game by Ronaldão Cabral from a close distance when the talented Manuel Munhoz managed to make a qualified save. Paraná Clube's players were relieved. 88 minutes into the game, Tião de Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraná Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Badajos the free kick. After 88 played minutes Paraná Clube got a freekick which was hit by Tião de Brito. In the 90th minute Vitinho Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Paraná Clube getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Leonel Goiano hit a great ball. Geovani Tinoco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Munhoz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paraná Clube's Manuel Munhoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Paraná Clube from getting a goal against them. Badajos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
