Manuel Tande had great luck who in the 6thth minute grab hold of the ball when Antônio Carlos Vinhas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mateus Macedo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Antônio Carlos Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcisio dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Carlos Vinhas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Tande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Caetano Toscano struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hélder do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Team. 23 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Vinhas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Tande. Dark Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Carlos Vinhas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Wanderson Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 30th play minutes Caetano Toscano shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Hélder do Valle and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 35th minute Wanderson Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Araújo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder do Valle saved São Lourenço FC from getting behind. Hélder do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Araújo in the 38th minute of play. Dark Team's Manuel Tande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Team from getting a goal against them. Tarcisio dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tande having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Wanderson Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dark Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caetano Toscano was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Dark Team's Caetano Toscano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When Caetano Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Dark Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Toscano couldn't finish the play. If Wanderson Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Toscano in the 63rd minute of play. Antônio Carlos Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wanderson Araújo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Hélder do Valle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to São Lourenço FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Michel Baptista hit a great ball. Hélder do Valle was a little too slow when Caetano Toscano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-3. Caetano Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 played minutes São Lourenço FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Sabóia. If Wanderson Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Caetano Toscano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hélder do Valle, passed just outside the right post. After 88 played minutes Dark Team got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Simão. Dark Team's Wanderson Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, São Lourenço FC's goalkeeper Hélder do Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Toscano. Breno Mendonça hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Dark Team left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than São Lourenço FC.
