When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inácio Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Giuseppe Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Giuseppe Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Arce in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Inácio Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guto Arce scored 5-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giuseppe Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guto Arce in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the game, Raphael Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Giuseppe Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raphael Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Giuseppe Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯ defense, Guto Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Veiga. The ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Veiga should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josué Matos during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sao Paulo CE's Josué Matos got a free kick in the 76th minute. The long shot by Lauro Pires in the 77th minute really tested Renan Cavalcante's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
