An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Jeferson Oliveira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeferson Oliveira made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 21stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Oscar Vides would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Glauco Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Toledo in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Lepo Lepo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Carioca came free, but Glauco Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeferson Oliveira let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 27th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Jeferson Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Vides having to interfere. A collision led to Diamentina FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ernesto Toledo hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Diamentina FC's goalkeeper Oscar Vides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Pernambucano. 34 minutes into the match, Lepo Lepo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Carioca came free, but Glauco Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jeferson Oliveira put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oscar Vides.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeferson Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. After 64 minutes, Jeferson Oliveira made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Diamentina FC's Oscar Vides tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeferson Oliveira during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Lepo Lepo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Paulo José Carioca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Glauco Borges was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Diamentina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Vides should have stopped the shot. Diamentina FC's Oscar Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Oliveira in the 84th minute of play. Jeferson Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Vides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeferson Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeferson Oliveira took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Vides. Oscar Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. There was no doubt that Lepo Lepo FC were the better team. Lepo Lepo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
