Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Fernando Arruda took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldão Cabral in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamim Teles saved Ibrahy AD from getting behind. Benjamim Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Travassos in the 11th minute of the match. Ibrahy AD's Benjamim Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Cabral in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vivaldo Antunes got free with Edvaldo Madureira in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Badajos fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Badajos's Ronaldão Cabral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Ibrahy AD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marquinhos Pinheiro hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Badajos's Geovani Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Ronaldão Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamim Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 36 minutes of play, Badajos's Vitinho Travassos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamim Teles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavinho da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavinho da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ibrahy AD getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Vidal hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Antunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edvaldo Madureira, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Benjamim Teles was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Ronaldão Cabral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldão Cabral really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Cabral in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Fernando Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Badajos's Geovani Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Vivaldo Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibrahy AD's protests and gave Vivaldo Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. The Ibrahy AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. In the 86th minute, Badajos's Geovani Tinoco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamim Teles. Benjamim Teles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Arruda in the 90th minute of play forced Badajos's goalkeeper Edvaldo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Ronaldão Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Medeiros got free with Benjamim Teles in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Badajos's Ronaldão Cabral in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibrahy AD's goalie prevented a goal. The Badajos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Badajos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
