The supporters of Juca SC booed when Rap é o Som was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adhemar Lopez hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Rubens Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Tande's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Mauro Tande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubens Travassos was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Rap é o Som's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Ortiz came free, but Rubens Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Pires came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Rap é o Som's Augusto Trevisan. But to his dismay, Augusto Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Adhemar Lopez charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adhemar Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Adhemar Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Rap é o Som's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Prestes came free, but Rubens Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubens Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ronaldinho Custódio charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Custódio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Rap é o Som got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Custódio. Doriva Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Trevisan in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes of play, Rap é o Som's Augusto Trevisan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 36 minutes, Mauro Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juca SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Eliézer Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 minutes, Mauro Tande made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute Mauro Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Trevisan made a kick off. Hortêncio Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Travassos having to interfere. Rubens Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Ortiz in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Mauro Tande could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Rubens Travassos however easily saved by the left post. Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Rap é o Som from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rap é o Som's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zeca Favoretto was slow to take the kick. During this time Juca SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zeca Favoretto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos did a great save. With a little luck, Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos got control of the ball when Mauro Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Rap é o Som was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Rubens Travassos made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Mauro Tande sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the game, André Luiz Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rap é o Som's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juca SC the free kick. A collision led to Rap é o Som getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. André Luiz Furlan hit a great ball. Augusto Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Rubens Travassos was a little too slow when Vito Ortiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-2. Baltazar Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Rap é o Som from getting a goal against them. The Rap é o Som fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Juca SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
