Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FLAMANIA FC's Ruy de Sena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luciano Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Sanches having to interfere. In the 5th minute of the match, Luciano Cerezo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudinho Sanches was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 6 played minutes FLAMANIA FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Donatello. Claudinho Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Cerezo in the 8th minute of the match. Luciano Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 minutes, Jefferson Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corinthians and the FLAMANIA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jefferson Bastos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinho Aparecido in the 19th minute of play forced Corinthians's goalkeeper Ismael de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy de Sena in the 20th minute of play. Ismael de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Aparecido in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy de Sena in the 24th minute of play forced Corinthians's goalkeeper Ismael de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FLAMANIA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Durval Miranda scored to the left of an out of position Claudinho Sanches, making the score, 1-0. Luciano Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Claudinho Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Corinthians defense, Edinho Aparecido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael de Barros. The Corinthians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael de Barros should have stopped the shot. After 34 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Albuquerque. Luciano Cerezos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Claudinho Sanches to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the game, Corinthians's Durval Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Luciano Cerezo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Sanches. Claudinho Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durval Miranda to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Luciano Cerezo sped through FLAMANIA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudinho Sanches. After 56 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Bastos. Claudinho Sanches came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians's Jefferson Bastos. But to his dismay, Jefferson Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Claudinho Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goalkeeper Ismael de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho Aparecido. Durval Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79thth minute of the game Durval Miranda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FLAMANIA FC's Claudinho Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 83 played minutes FLAMANIA FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Donatello. Ismael de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match, Edinho Aparecido got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ismael de Barros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Corinthians's Ismael de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy de Sena in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goalkeeper Ismael de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho Aparecido.
