Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Azevedo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Azevedo in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jampa Boys's Manuel Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Terra in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gil Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Loureiro was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. José Maria Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Manuel Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasília FC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brasília FC had played much better football throughout.
