When Alex Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARINUS MZC's protests and gave Alex Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, MARINUS MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Vianna to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Perivaldo Moreira managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when GØRDÃØ TEAM's Petrică Mercescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of GØRDÃØ TEAM booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauder Boston in the 14th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, GØRDÃØ TEAM's Lauder Boston sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Perivaldo Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when MARINUS MZC's Gino Abreu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Pedrinho Zonta hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes GØRDÃØ TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Cássio do Vale. In the 27th minute, Cláudio de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perivaldo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauder Boston, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Pedrinho Zonta hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Petrică Mercescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MARINUS MZC's Perivaldo Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save MARINUS MZC from getting a goal against them. MARINUS MZC's Perivaldo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauder Boston in the 41st minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gino Abreu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Petrică Mercescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match GØRDÃØ TEAM got a corner. MARINUS MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petrică Mercescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Perivaldo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Rui Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes, Cláudio de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARINUS MZC and the GØRDÃØ TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauder Boston in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Moreira saved MARINUS MZC from getting behind. In the 86th minute Lauder Boston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Lauder Boston came free, but Perivaldo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the GØRDÃØ TEAM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
