Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aírton da Costa made the kick off which started today's match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Marcelo Pereira sped through Ivo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Percival Félix. 7 minutes into the match, Marcelo Pereira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ivo FC's Percival Félix. Percival Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Marcelo Pereira could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Percival Félix however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ivo FC's zone, Hílton Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percival Félix came out of the goal and Hílton Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Silvinho Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ivo FC's Percival Félix got control of the ball when Marcelo Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Benedito Silva came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Recife Pe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Silva couldn't finish the play. If Cauan Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Dias hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ademar Prado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Marcelo Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Percival Félix. Ivo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Breno Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recife Pe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Pereira got free with Percival Félix in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauan Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton da Costa in the 46th minute of play forced Ivo FC's goalkeeper Percival Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Arantes was the one to do the kick off. If Aírton da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo FC's Percival Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Pereira in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ivo FC's Vladimir Dias got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aírton da Costa in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Félix saved Ivo FC from getting behind. Marcelo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cauan Camargo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauan Camargo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Pereira in the 86th minute of play forced Ivo FC's goalkeeper Percival Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ivo FC booed when Recife Pe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Recife Pe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ivo FC for a fine match.
