Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wellington Charles kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Catipora's zone, Augusto Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Capixaba came out of the goal and Augusto Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Catipora's Isaltino Martins got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Rômulo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Charles in the 9th minute of play forced Catipora's goalkeeper Túlio Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Túlio Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Cavalcante in the 11th minute of the match. Toninho Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Túlio Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Túlio Capixaba came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaraçai Esporte Clube's Wellington Charles. But to his dismay, Wellington Charles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 16 minutes, Isaltino Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catipora and the Guaraçai Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaltino Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Túlio Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Oliveira in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Catipora getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dinei Motta hit a great ball. Ernesto Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Toninho Toscano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Túlio Capixaba having to make a save. If Pedro Luís da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Guaraçai Esporte Clube's Bonifacio Loi got control of the ball when Pedro Luís da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Túlio Capixaba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Charles went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Túlio Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Túlio Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Toscano in the 42nd minute of the match. Catipora's Túlio Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Toscano in the 44th minute of play. Bonifacio Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Vieira in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 54th minute, Guaraçai Esporte Clube's Wellington Charles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 58 minutes into the match, Toninho Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Capixaba. Catipora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Túlio Capixaba came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaraçai Esporte Clube's Rômulo Cabral. But to his dismay, Rômulo Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Wellington Charles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Catipora getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Isaltino Martins hit a great ball. Túlio Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Charles in the 76th minute of play. Wellington Charles took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Túlio Capixaba. Túlio Capixaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. With a little luck, Catipora's Túlio Capixaba got control of the ball when Wellington Charles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Catipora's Túlio Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cavalcante in the 84th minute of play. Túlio Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Túlio Capixaba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Toscano in the 89th minute. Bonifacio Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís da Fonseca in the 94th minute of play.
