In the 23rd minute, Adilson Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Malvadeza Mode ON's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Cardozo came free, but Emerson Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Malvadeza Mode ON's zone, Oswaldo Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Severo came out of the goal and Oswaldo Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Cardozo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Emerson Severo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Notria F.C.'s Dráuzio Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Cardozo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Severo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felippe Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Severo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Cardozo in the 46th minute. Malvadeza Mode ON's Emerson Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Cardozo in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Cardozo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Malvadeza Mode ON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Oswaldo Pereira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emerson Severo skillfully saved the ball. If Dráuzio Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Dráuzio Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Notria F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Cardozo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 69th minute, Felippe Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Notria F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Notria F.C.'s Acácio Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emerson Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Válter Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malvadeza Mode ON's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Notria F.C. the free kick. After some careless play in the Malvadeza Mode ON defense, Dráuzio Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Severo. The Malvadeza Mode ON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Severo should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Notria F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
