Recife Pe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Brasil Stylee the free kick. After 12 played minutes Recife Pe got a freekick which was hit by Breno Tinoco. Tomás Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio da Silva in the 16th minute of the match. Real Brasil Stylee's Nilmar Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Real Brasil Stylee from getting a goal against them. Nilmar Varela was a little too slow when Aírton da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-1. Luís Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Berger having to interfere. Aírton da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nilmar Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Recife Pe's Benedito Silva got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Aloísio da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Berger was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasil Stylee's zone, Marcelo Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilmar Varela came out of the goal and Marcelo Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 played minutes Real Brasil Stylee got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Marquez. Nilmar Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Marcelo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio da Silva in the 72nd minute of the match.
