A hard shot by Manoel Ramalho from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Bonifacio Loi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Toninho Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Guaraçai Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Toscano couldn't finish the play. Manoel Ramalho hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Toninho Toscano scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lauro Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Angelo Bittencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaraçai Esporte Clube. Cristian Leme's late challenge caught a Notria F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Leme helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guaraçai Esporte Clube's Cristian Leme got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Notria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Barbosa. 31 minutes into the match, Notria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Charles came free, but Angelo Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Acácio Bastos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bonifacio Loi. Acácio Bastos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Angelo Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Charles in the 43rd minute of the match. Bonifacio Loi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Notria F.C.'s Felippe Monteiro. But to his dismay, Felippe Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dráuzio Cardozo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Notria F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaraçai Esporte Clube the free kick. After 53 played minutes Notria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Cardozo. Cristian Leme was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 57th minute of the match Manoel Ramalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bonifacio Loi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauro Oliveira during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guaraçai Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lauro Oliveira hit a great ball. Felippe Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Bonifacio Loi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Notria F.C.. In the 65th match minute, Guaraçai Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Toninho Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Notria F.C.'s zone, Augusto Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Bittencourt came out of the goal and Augusto Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Bittencourt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rômulo Cabral went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Rômulo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oswaldo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bonifacio Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Guaraçai Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Mendes to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Manoel Ramalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bonifacio Loi skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute Dráuzio Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Notria F.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Manoel Ramalho hit a great ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Acácio Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Notria F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio Bastos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Notria F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Guaraçai Esporte Clube having more of the ball for most of the match.
