Kiko Xavier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. Felippe Fonseca didn't quite understand what happened when in the 60 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Gil Prata came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Basu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Prata couldn't finish the play. Matías Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Fabrício Barros made a huge save. Neymar Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Barros having to interfere.
