Nando das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Branco in the 64th minute of play. With his leg Nando das Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Umber FC's Gilberto Ferreira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gilberto Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Gilberto Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Lucas Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umber FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nando das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gino Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. Nando das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umber FC. 85 minutes into the match, Gilberto Ferreira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nando das Neves, 0-1. Nando das Neves made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Lucas Teixeira sent off a good shot on target.
