With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Isaltino Branco came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Inglesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaltino Branco couldn't finish the play. Gino Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Lima having to interfere. In the 88th minute Neymar Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lobo Futebol Clube's Matías Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Inglesa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lobo Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
