Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Maia FC's Wilton Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Tony Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maia FC and the Feil Futebol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Tony Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Maia FC's goalkeeper Fábio Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nesor Rancel. Fábio Corrêa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Kajetan Dzerwucki might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kajetan Dzerwucki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13thth minute of the game Wilton Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feil Futebol Club's Giuseppe Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 minutes of play Maia FC's Tony Ribeiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Maia FC's Tony Ribeiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Wilton Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giuseppe Ferraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 25 minutes, Hermínio França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fábio Corrêa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nesor Rancel's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Feil Futebol Club's zone, Hermínio França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Ferraz came out of the goal and Hermínio França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilton Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giuseppe Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Rocha in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Maia FC's goalkeeper Fábio Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nesor Rancel. Nesor Rancel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Walmyr Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fábio Corrêa. Walmyr Almeida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Nesor Rancel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Corrêa having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nesor Rancel made the kick off in the second half. Hermínio França might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio França ran back to his position shaking his head. Feil Futebol Club's Kajetan Dzerwucki got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilton Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe Ferraz having to make a save. Wilton Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Wilton Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Wilton Rocha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 67th minute Nesor Rancel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feil Futebol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kajetan Dzerwucki in the 71st minute. Wilton Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Giuseppe Ferraz made a huge save. Hermínio França struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Giuseppe Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maia FC. José de Mendonça hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Hermínio França might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio França ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermínio França got free with Giuseppe Ferraz in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feil Futebol Club's José de Mendonça pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilton Rocha during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Feil Futebol Club's Giuseppe Ferraz got control of the ball when Hermínio França tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hermínio França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Feil Futebol Club.
